Prayer does not replace legal, clinical, medical, or child-welfare services. These are the focuses our leadership returns to.

  • Children

    For children waiting on a decision, living between homes, or carrying more than a child should have to carry.

  • Families

    For parents working toward safety, for relatives who stepped forward, and for families waiting to bring a child home.

  • Professionals

    For social workers, attorneys, and caseworkers carrying more matters than anyone should, and making decisions that will outlast them.

  • Decision-makers

    For judges and those who advise them, that decisions are made with wisdom and with the child genuinely first.

  • Foundation leadership

    For discernment about which matters to take on, and the humility to keep the Foundation inside its own boundaries.

  • Provision

    For the resources to meet needs that are real, verified, and currently beyond what the Foundation can reach.

  • Wisdom

    That prayer is never used to excuse a lack of accountability, and procedure is never used to remove God from the work.
